L'Universo Letterario: 2.750 anni di scrittori come un cielo

What if you could see all of world literature at once? The Literary Universe maps 439 of the masters in BookLab — from Homer in the eighth century BC to the poets of the twentieth — as a single living starfield. Each writer is a star, placed by the year they were born and coloured by their homeland; the brighter and warmer the glow, the more celebrated the name.

It is made to be explored, not just admired. Hover any star to meet the writer, see their dates and how much of their work we hold; click to open them in the reader. Choose a country and the whole sky re-forms around it — a clean timeline of that nation's voices, with its giants blazing warmest. Twelve cultures, nearly three thousand years, one continuous sky.

Every position is real: we audited the writers' birth years down to the calendar, so the constellations are true to history. Wander in, find a name you love, and let it lead you to one you've never read.
